About The Position

The Director of Rehab supports the RM, RVP, and Operations Team in ensuring efficient operation of the facility rehabilitation department. The role serves as a liaison between Functional Pathways, the facility, and rehabilitation staff, coordinating and integrating care. The position is based at Kendal at Lexington in Lexington, Virginia, and offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus to direct applicants. Requirements

• Associate degree as a PTA or COTA, or at least a Bachelor of Science degree as a PT, OT, or SLP, or a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, from an accredited program.
• Meet all certification and licensure requirements established by state and national board associations.
• Hold an active state license.
• Complete all required screenings, certifications, and licensure; screening requirements may vary by location.
• Comprehensive leadership skills and ability to supervise.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Competence in maintaining accurate and timely documentation.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and continuing education activities.

Nice To Haves

• Two years of clinical experience, preferably with geriatric care.
• Management experience in a skilled setting.
