About The Position

Cottage Hospital is seeking a Director of Radiology to oversee the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the Radiology Department. This leadership role balances strategic planning with day-to-day operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and efficient department performance. The Director is responsible for managing departmental budgets, expenses, policies, and equipment contracts, while maintaining fiscal accountability and aligning operations with organizational goals. Working closely with the Medical Director, this role helps optimize patient care delivery and imaging services using evidence-based practices and ensuring compliance with CMS and other regulatory standards. This position leads and develops staff, supports a culture of safety and engagement, and ensures the department maintains continuous survey readiness. The Director also monitors patient care delivery, evaluates operational and financial performance, and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and outcomes. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, staffing and productivity management, financial forecasting, and performance analysis. The Director collaborates across departments, communicates effectively with leadership and providers, and serves as a liaison to the community and referral partners. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership skills, radiology experience, and financial acumen, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
