About The Position

As the Director of Quality, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products or services to our customers. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will lead the Quality Engineering function and work closely with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain robust quality assurance processes throughout the product life cycle.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role within quality engineering or Product (Hardware + Software) development.
  • Strong background in quality assurance methodologies, testing processes, and test automation.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Proven track record of implementing process improvements and achieving high-quality standards.
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant field.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the Semiconductor; Electronics Contract Manufacturing Industries is Desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Define and communicate quality standards and guidelines.
  • Oversee the design and execution of testing processes, including automated and manual testing, to validate software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Ensure the implementation of effective test automation strategies.
  • Continuously improve development and testing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
  • Identify and implement best practices for quality engineering.
  • Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to integrate quality assurance into the entire software development life cycle.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility for quality.
  • Establish and monitor key quality metrics to track the performance of development processes.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of quality initiatives.
  • Ensure Compliance and Certifications to ISO Standards ( ISO 9001, ISO 14001…. ).
  • Ensure that development and testing processes comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
  • Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance.
  • Build and lead a high-performing quality engineering team.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Identify and mitigate Quality risks associated with product (Hardware and Software) development.
  • Implement controls to minimize the impact of potential issues.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in quality engineering.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction by ensuring that products meet user expectations, are user-friendly, and are free from critical defects.
  • Actively seek and incorporate customer feedback into quality improvement initiatives.
