About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Director of Quality Management (RN) for its new Waterbury rehabilitation hospital, which is scheduled to open in the fall. The Director manages efficient, cost-effective performance improvement operations for the assigned hospital and works with hospital and medical staff leadership to foster a culture of safety. The role coordinates the design, measurement, assessment, and planning activities that improve patient care and organizational functions, serves as a liaison to accrediting and regulatory bodies, and provides direction and assistance to medical staff regarding quality measures.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of five years of current clinical experience.

Responsibilities
- Manage efficient, cost-effective operations of performance improvement functions for the assigned PAM Health hospital(s).
- Coordinate with hospital and medical staff leadership to foster a culture of safety through the design, measurement, assessment, and planning of activities to improve patient care and organizational functions.
- Serve as a liaison with accrediting and regulatory bodies, including TJC, CIHQ, CMS, and the Department of Health.
- Provide direction and assistance to the medical staff regarding medical staff quality measures.
