About The Position

The Director of Programming leads the Long Center’s year-round programmatic work, building a cohesive body of performing arts programming, partnerships, education and outreach that advances the organization’s mission and attracts support from donors, sponsors and funders. The Director works closely with the President & CEO on artistic vision and strategy, and partners with Advancement, Marketing, Sales, Operations, Production and Finance to ensure programs are funded, attended and executed effectively. The Director also serves on the senior management team, leads and develops the Programming team, and helps shape a collaborative, accountable and caring organizational culture.
