About The Position

We are seeking a hands-on, strategic leader to own the design, development, and execution of internal platforms and operational systems. This role will focus on identifying fragmented or manual workflows and transforming them into scalable, integrated solutions that drive efficiency and visibility across the organization.

Requirements

Strong background in product management, systems architecture, and workflow optimization
Experience building and implementing automation systems and API integrations
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and balance short-term execution with long-term platform strategy
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Nice To Haves

Experience within media, publishing, event operations, or similar industries is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead the discovery, design, and architecture of core systems initiatives, beginning with the development of a unified event operating system serving as the single source of truth for critical relationships and data
Build and configure tools directly using Airtable or similar low-code platforms, including automations, workflows, and data models
Develop and test API integrations, write queries, and partner closely with engineering teams to deliver production-ready solutions
Collaborate cross-functionally with events, revenue, editorial, audience, and finance teams to translate business needs into clear, scalable system designs
Evaluate and implement AI-driven solutions (including LLMs and intelligent automation) to streamline operations and reduce complexity—focusing on practical, high-impact use cases
