About PSA PSA is the global leader in trading card grading and authentication. Trusted by collectors, dealers, breakers, and marketplaces worldwide, PSA sets the standard for verifying authenticity and condition and serves as a foundational layer of trust across the hobby. Role Overview We are seeking a Director of Product Marketing to lead strategy and execution for PSA’s Sports Grading business. This role owns how products come to market and scale, spanning positioning, go-to-market strategy, lifecycle growth, and the end-to-end collector experience. The Director serves as the central connector across Product, Operations, Growth, Brand, and Communications to ensure the right products are prioritized, brought to market effectively, and deliver a high-quality customer experience. This leader brings deep, first-hand credibility in the sports card ecosystem alongside strong product marketing leadership and plays a critical role in strengthening PSA’s position at the center of the collector ecosystem.

Requirements

  • 10–12+ years of experience in product marketing, go-to-market, or category leadership roles
  • 5–7+ years of people management experience, building and leading high-performing teams
  • Deep, authentic expertise in the sports card ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of grading, collectibles markets, and secondary marketplaces
  • Proven track record of launching products and scaling category growth
  • Experience operating cross-functionally in complex organizations
  • Data-driven, with the ability to translate insights into action
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action and comfort building from the ground up
  • Exposure to high-growth, late-stage, or IPO-adjacent environments preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to ~20%
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end product marketing strategy across Sports Grading
  • Define target segments and develop acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies across collectors, dealers, breakers, and investors
  • Lead go-to-market planning for product launches, service innovations, and category expansions
  • Drive integrated campaign strategy across digital, CRM, events, and social channels
  • Define positioning, messaging, and value propositions
  • Translate collector insights, customer experience needs, and market dynamics into actionable product and GTM strategies
  • Partner with Product and Operations to inform roadmap prioritization and focus on highest-impact opportunities
  • Develop pricing, packaging, and promotional frameworks in partnership with business leads
  • Champion the end-to-end collector experience across the submission, grading, and post-grade journey
  • Identify friction points and partner cross-functionally to improve transparency, speed, communication, and overall satisfaction
  • Serve as the internal and external expert across the sports card ecosystem
  • Shape narratives that reinforce PSA’s leadership across authenticity, grading standards, and collector value
  • Build strategic partnerships across leagues, teams, rights holders, marketplaces, dealers, and key industry stakeholders, partnering with Communications on creator and influencer engagement
  • Identify whitespace opportunities to expand grading adoption and submission growth
  • Stay ahead of market dynamics, including release cycles, grading demand, player performance impact, and pricing trends
  • Establish and manage full-funnel KPIs (awareness through submission and engagement)
  • Drive continuous optimization through testing across channels, offers, and experiences
  • Build and lead a high-performing product marketing function
  • Partner cross-functionally across Growth, Brand, Product, Operations, Sales, Legal, Finance, and Communications
  • Elevate organizational understanding of the sports card market and collector mindset
