Under the direction of the Associate Dean of Pre-Licensure Clinical Placement, the Director will oversee all aspects of clinical placement in Pre-Licensure. The Director is responsible for securing, coordinating, and maintaining all clinical placements. Manages the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of clinical faculty to ensure high-quality clinical instruction and full compliance with programmatic, regulatory, and accreditation standards. As a key member of the School of Nursing leadership team, the Director serves on assigned institutional and program committees and collaborates closely with internal and external stakeholders. The Director also represents the Clinical Placement Office in public-facing School of Nursing activities, providing clinical education information to diverse audiences and actively supporting the School’s mission and strategic priorities. Ensures clinical courses and objectives are fully developed by faculty and realized each semester through appropriate placements, learning opportunities, and robust evaluation. The Director will employ strategies to increase the number of instructors, preceptors, and clinical site partnerships throughout the academic year and collaborate with departments internally and externally to build and strengthen those relationships.
