About The Position

The Director of Outpatient Services provides leadership for the development and implementation of the outpatient services of the hospital. The position is responsible for the administrative and clinical oversight of the services as well as the expansion of new services. Under the leadership of the hospital CEO and CMO the Outpatient Director ensures the OP services is managed following the mission/vision of the hospital and meets the patient and community needs.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or a PhD in clinical /counseling psychology.
  • Must be licensed by the state of New Mexico in their perspective discipline.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Must have two years in leadership role.
  • Ability to serve as the organization’s primary resource regarding regulatory requirements such as JCAHO, CMS, OSHA, DOH, CYFD and all other applicable federal and state laws and regulations governing mental health care facilities relating to behavioral health/ substance abuse in Outpatient services.
