The Day/Community Services Director oversees the Redeemer Health IDD Day/Community Services Program operations to provide a positive, rewarding, service-oriented environment for the participants and staff that is consistent with Redeemer Health's commitment to service excellence. This individual ensures that services are specifically designed to meet the unique needs of the specific program participants including but not limited to those with a history of severe behavioral challenges, medical diagnosis, dual diagnosis, or intellectual/ developmental disabilities (I/DD). The Intellectual Disabilities Program expands Holy Redeemer’s mission to Care, Comfort and Heal by providing unique, trustworthy and compassionate care for adults with intellectual disabilities. The ID Program integrates health care with other supports and leverages Holy Redeemer’s expertise to enhance the lives of adults with intellectual disabilities.

Requirements

  • A Master’s degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1-year work experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities.
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years work experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to facilitate communication between internal and external customers
  • Excellent basic and persuasive communication skills
  • Have a valid PA drivers license, and satisfactory background checks including but not limited to (Pennsylvania Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 34 Criminal Clearance and Act 73 FBI Clearance).
