The Director of Operations is responsible for leading all operational activities within the Memphis market. This executive-level leader will oversee Facility Solutions Managers, client retention, contractor performance, service delivery, operational profitability, and employee development. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at relationship management, and has a proven track record of developing teams and driving operational results. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of operations leadership experience.
  • 10+ years of team management experience.
  • Experience managing customer-facing service operations.
  • Strong financial and budget management experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Facility services, commercial maintenance, janitorial, or property management experience.
  • Experience managing independent contractor relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop Facility Solutions Managers and operational personnel.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and train operational team members.
  • Maintain client retention rates exceeding 90%.
  • Oversee service delivery operations across the market.
  • Manage operational budgets and departmental expenses.
  • Achieve annual revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with independent contractors and vendors.
  • Partner with the sales team to support growth and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Participate in all major new client starts and oversee successful onboarding.
  • Ensure inspections, follow-up actions, and CRM records are maintained.
  • Personally manage and develop 6–10 Facility Solutions Managers.
  • Spend at least 50% of time in the field with clients, employees, and contractors.
