Libby Care Center is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical team and drive excellence in resident care. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring high-quality outcomes in a skilled nursing environment. Requirements

• Current RN license in Montana (or ability to obtain)
• Previous nursing leadership experience, ideally in SNF/long-term care
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and survey process
• Proven ability to build, lead, and retain strong teams
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing services
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care
• Drive clinical quality measures, survey readiness, and performance improvement
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and labor resources effectively
• Foster a positive, engaged, and accountable team culture
