About The Position

The Director of Nursing is responsible for all aspects of nursing care delivery at the facility and serves as department lead for the OR, Preop, and PACU. The role also oversees facility quality improvement, risk management, infection control, and teammate education. The Director provides leadership to help ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility policies and procedures, and promotes effective working relationships and efficient communication across clinical departments.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Current RN licensure.
• Successfully complete a BLS course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successfully complete an ACLS course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Two years of nursing management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of nursing care delivery in the facility.

• Provide leadership oversight to ensure patient needs are met in accordance with physician instructions and facility policies and procedures.
