About The Position

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room to provide perioperative patient care. The RN assesses patient status throughout the perioperative episode, develops individualized plans of care, and works with a multidisciplinary team to plan patient care. The role supports SCA Health’s mission, vision, and values.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• Complete Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current BLS certification.
• Complete the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Complete the Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course within 90 days of employment or provide documentation of current PALS certification when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services.

Nice To Haves

• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
