About The Position

The Director of Nursing (DON) for the Acute Care Unit (Inpatient) is responsible for directing and managing the delivery of quality nursing care services. This role serves on the organization's Leadership Team and is responsible for interviewing and staffing the in-patient unit. The DON conducts education, training, and orientation for ACU staff, and assists in the Infection Control functions of the organization in collaboration with the Infection Control Preventionist. Additionally, the DON provides clinical supervision to all nursing and ACU staff and develops, implements, and reviews all clinical ACU policies.

Requirements

  • RN, State of Ohio
  • BSN Required
  • 5-7 Years of behavioral health experience
  • 3-5 Years management/leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Ohio BCI check
  • FBI check required if you have lived in Ohio for less than 5 years, or for working with children
  • 5-panel drug screen
  • 2 step TB (or proof of prior TB) upon conditional offer of employment
