The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for managing all the functions of the nursing department. This includes supervising all nursing staff, overseeing department budgets, maintaining high standards of care for all patients, training new nursing staff, providing ongoing education for nursing staff, and other duties as assigned. The role also involves staff recruiting and retention consistent with the organization's mission, vision, and values. Requirements
- RN License in good standing with the State Board of Nursing
- Familiar with State and Federal Regulations
- Clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Experience in nursing management and supervision
