About The Position
Beacham Memorial/Freedom Behavioral Hospital in Magnolia, MS is accepting resumes for the Director of Nurses (DON). This position is currently filled but applications are being taken to ensure no disruption in patient care if a vacancy occurs. This full-time position reports to the hospital CEO and is responsible for upholding the standards of care established by regulatory and accrediting bodies. The DON will provide oversight and direction to all direct care nursing staff and ensure the units are staffed safely and according to protocol.
Requirements
- RN License through the state board of nursing
- ACLS Certified
- One-year management or related experience in nursing
Nice To Haves
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing minimum, with MSN oversight.
Responsibilities
- Upholding the standards of care established by regulatory and accrediting bodies.
- Providing oversight and direction to all direct care nursing staff.
