About The Position

Community Nursing and Rehab is hiring a Director of Nursing Services. The Director of Nursing plays a key leadership role in delivering clinical services by overseeing nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and managing administrative and regulatory responsibilities. The role calls for supportive leadership, strong clinical judgment, collaboration across departments and with outside organizations, teamwork, and effective communication with staff, residents, customers, and families.

Requirements

Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Indiana.
Minimum of three years of clinical experience in geriatric care.
Minimum of one year of experience as a departmental manager in a skilled nursing setting.
Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
Ability to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and clinical judgment.
Leadership, collaboration, teamwork, supportive presence, and effective interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee nursing staff and support nursing teams in achieving high standards of patient care.
