The Chief Nursing Officer assumes responsibility for the health of each resident and the coordination of services to provide the appropriate level of care as determined through the assessment process. This role requires a current Registered Nursing license in good standing in the State of Oklahoma, a degree as a registered nurse from an accredited nursing program, and CPR and First Aid training. The position involves the ability to take call after hours and on weekends, maintain a chain of command, uphold quality assurance, implement improvement plans, and present a professional appearance. The role also requires the ability to understand and follow directions related to patient care. The position has full access to Protected Health Information of residents and requires the ability to organize and prioritize tasks accurately within specified time constraints to meet resident needs, regulatory standards, and customer satisfaction. Essential functions include the ability to speak, hear, and read English, discern temperature, texture, size, and shape. Exceptional attendance is a requirement.
