About The Position

Moove AV is seeking a Director of Network & IT to own the company’s technology infrastructure, including network infrastructure across depots and offices, identity, devices, and employee systems. The Director will define strategy, standards, architecture, and vendor direction for the Network & IT function and lead the team delivering it. The initial direct report is the IT Systems Administrator, who handles day-to-day employee support, hardware lifecycle, identity administration, and IT automation. The Director will set priorities, review work, and grow the team as the business expands. This is a hands-on leadership role based on-site at the Phoenix office, with travel to other Moove sites as needed. The position involves designing and operating network and site infrastructure for autonomous vehicle operations while ensuring dependable, secure IT service for employees across multiple markets and time zones. The role owns the Network & IT roadmap, infrastructure and site deployments, identity and access architecture, endpoint standards, incident response, continuity plans, employee IT service levels, hardware lifecycle, automation, core business applications, budgets, and vendor relationships. Success includes reliable and monitored connectivity at existing and new sites, repeatable site deployment plans, appropriate and timely employee access, documented and regularly reviewed security standards, increasing automation, and IT spending aligned with business needs. Employment is contingent on meeting applicable screening and driving requirements. Applicants who receive a conditional offer may be required to undergo pre-employment drug screening. Moove conducts criminal background checks after a conditional offer; a prior conviction does not necessarily disqualify an applicant, and the company describes an individualized assessment. The position requires operating a motor vehicle for company business and maintaining a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history under the insurance carrier’s standards. Driving records may be monitored during employment.
