About The Position

BASX is seeking a transformational manufacturing executive to lead one of its key operations as Site Leader (Director of Manufacturing). This role is far more than manufacturing oversight. It is an opportunity to shape the future of a growing operation, influence enterprise strategy, drive large-scale operational transformation, and build the manufacturing capabilities required to support long-term business growth. As the senior manufacturing leader for the site, you will serve as a trusted business partner to executive leadership and will be responsible for aligning manufacturing strategy, operational performance, capital investment, workforce development, and technology advancement with the organization's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will bring a balance of strategic vision and operational discipline while building a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing organizations.
  • Demonstrated success driving operational and cultural transformation.
  • Experience leading automation, digital manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing capital investments and operating budgets.
  • A track record of improving productivity, quality, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional leadership presence and executive communication skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic vision with executional excellence.
  • Experience building high-performing leadership teams and scalable organizational structures.
  • Requires a four-year ABET-accredited degree in engineering with significant experience in manufacturing technology; 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership of large-scale initiatives; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and execute a multi-year manufacturing strategy aligned with company growth initiatives.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance operational scalability, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive business performance through operational excellence, capacity optimization, and strategic planning.
  • Lead cultural and operational transformation initiatives across the facility.
  • Advance Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement principles throughout the organization.
  • Champion automation, smart factory technologies, and digital manufacturing capabilities.
  • Identify and implement breakthrough improvements that create sustainable competitive advantages.
  • Serve as a key member of the site leadership team.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic business decisions.
  • Influence organizational direction through data-driven decision-making and operational expertise.
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding investments, growth opportunities, risk mitigation, and resource allocation.

  • Serves as the senior manufacturing leader for BASX's Redmond operation, directing a workforce of more than 500 employees across a manufacturing footprint exceeding 300,000 square feet. Responsible for shaping manufacturing strategy, leading operational transformation, guiding capital investments, and building the organizational capabilities required to support continued growth and market leadership.
  • Requires a four-year ABET-accredited degree in engineering with significant experience in manufacturing technology; 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, including leadership of large-scale initiatives; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
