Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 10+ years of manufacturing, engineering, or manufacturing technology experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading technical organizations and developing engineering talent.
  • Strong manufacturing process, equipment, and troubleshooting expertise.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement and capital project initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in polymer, elastomer, chemical, specialty materials, or semiconductor-related manufacturing.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) systems.
  • Experience supporting large-scale capital projects, automation initiatives, and manufacturing expansions.
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement certification.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Tralee Park and Tralee Park Annex Manufacturing Technology organization.
  • Establish technical priorities and align resources across operational support, continuous improvement, reliability, automation, and capital project initiatives.
  • Develop technical talent, strengthen organizational capability, and build succession within the MT organization.
  • Serve as a member of the Site Leadership Team and represent Manufacturing Technology in site and business planning activities.
  • Foster collaboration across Operations, Maintenance, Quality, EHS, Engineering, and R&D.
  • Own the technical health of site manufacturing processes and systems.
  • Drive improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, uptime, capacity, and cost competitiveness.
  • Lead resolution of complex manufacturing, process, and equipment issues through structured problem solving and data-driven decision making.
  • Ensure effective technical ownership of manufacturing processes, equipment, and critical technologies.
  • Support implementation of automation, digital manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Develop site technology and capital improvement plans aligned with business objectives and growth requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership for capital projects from concept development through commissioning and startup.
  • Ensure robust technical requirements, risk assessments, and operational readiness plans are incorporated into major investments.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and business leaders to prioritize and execute the site project portfolio.
  • Represent the manufacturing technology perspective in design reviews, equipment qualifications, and technology deployment decisions.
  • Champion safe operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and company standards.
  • Provide technical leadership for process safety, management of change, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Ensure Manufacturing Technology activities promote operational discipline and long-term process sustainability.
