About The Position

Cross Creek is seeking an experienced, people-first leader to oversee their Landscape Maintenance Division. This role offers a long-term leadership opportunity within a respected, multi-generational, family-owned company in the green industry. The Director will lead a large, well-established operation serving over 800 active clients and managing a team of 100+ employees, including seasonal staff, across multiple departments. This position is ideal for a leader who believes that a strong culture drives strong performance. The Director will play a key role in developing leaders, improving operations, and maintaining the high standards of the company. They will work closely with ownership to support long-term strategic growth while fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, supported, and motivated to stay and grow. Cross Creek has been creating beautiful gardens and landscapes throughout Central Virginia since 1974 and invests heavily in its people, maintaining a landscape maintenance team with an average tenure of 4+ years.

Requirements

  • Experience in landscaping, horticulture, or another service-based industry
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting and P&L responsibility
  • Proven success leading, developing, and retaining teams
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-team operations
  • Strong communication skills across roles, backgrounds, and languages
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English) Conversational Level required
  • Desire for a long-term leadership role within a stable, values-driven organization
