About The Position
The Director of Laboratory is responsible for the management and operation of the Laboratory Department. Duties include personnel management, budgeting, equipment review and purchasing, attending various hospital committees, and completing document reporting as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of a School of Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science.
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology, chemical, physical, or biological science.
- A minimum of 4 years of training or experience as an ASCP-registered medical technologist.
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists national certification: MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP).
Responsibilities
