  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Systems, or a closely related field is required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated managerial experience leading electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, and systems-integration work from initial design through production and commissioning.
  • Demonstrated experience creating functional strategies, specific objectives, and developing budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
  • Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.
  • Extensive industrial electrical experience spanning power distribution, industrial automation, controls engineering, electrical construction, equipment integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and electrical manufacturing.
  • Experience with medium- and low-voltage power distribution, switchgear, PLC and HMI systems, instrumentation, cable or wire-harness design, and acceptance testing.
  • Ability to establish technical standards, manufacturing processes, inspection procedures, quality controls, traceability, and production documentation.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, MIL-STD-810, and MIL-STD-461 as applicable to the work.
