About The Position

Metro Plumbing, Heating & Air is seeking a Director of Electrical to build and lead their electrical division. This is an opportunity to create the team, establish standards, develop the culture, and shape the operations and growth of the electrical department. The role is for someone who wants to build something significant rather than just manage an existing department.

Requirements

• Holds the required Master Electrician license
• Has strong residential electrical experience
• Knows how to lead and develop people
• Understands both the technical and business side of electrical service
• Sets high standards and holds people accountable
• Can recruit and build a winning team
• Understands customer service and the residential service environment
• Wants to grow something—not simply manage what already exists

Responsibilities

• Building and growing Metro's Electrical Department
• Recruiting, developing, and leading electricians
• Establishing service, installation, and quality standards
• Driving department revenue and profitability
• Coaching technicians on technical excellence and customer service
• Creating accountability around performance and KPIs
• Working alongside company leadership on strategy and growth
• Ensuring work meets licensing, code, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Developing the next generation of electrical leaders
