About The Position

As our Director of Implementation Vet Med Operations and Project Management, you’ll be the bridge between cutting-edge veterinary technology and the dedicated professionals who use it every day. They will lead the rollout of new systems, ensure smooth adoption, and train teams so they feel confident and supported. Will work will directly improve clinic efficiency, reduce administrative burdens, and enhance the quality of care for pets and their families.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in veterinary operations, healthcare technology implementation, or practice management.
  • Strong knowledge of veterinary workflows, terminology, and client service expectations.
  • Hands-on experience with PIMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, AVImark, ezyVet, IDEXX Neo) or similar healthcare systems.
  • Exceptional communication and training skills, with the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
  • Proven project management skills—comfortable juggling multiple implementations at once.
  • A problem-solving mindset and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel Regionally for onsite support (20%) and to the Corporate offices in Rye Brook once a month for full operation team collaboration.
  • Multi-site veterinary or healthcare organization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation of veterinary software platforms and other related operational tools across multiple clinic locations. Including A.I. based platforms.
  • Conduct virtual assessments to understand clinic workflows, challenges, and goals.
  • Organized and detail oriented on all platforms under their responsibility.
  • Strong writing, communication and collaboration between multiple departments.
  • Develop tailored implementation plans, timelines, and training programs for veterinary teams that may be unique to each location.
  • Support training for veterinarians, technicians, and administrative staff on the technology and the efficiency that it will provide.
  • Collaborate directly with IT, vendors, and the broader operations teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems (e.g., Scribe Technology, Online Pharmacy Programs, New Payment platforms, VOIP Phone systems and Internet capabilities in clinic etc.).
  • Monitor adoption metrics, spearhead and troubleshooting issues, and provide ongoing post-implementation support to ensure long-term success.
  • Gather feedback from clinics and Regional Management to inform product enhancements and operational best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain budget requirements.
