The Senior Director of Human Resources is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Human Resources Department, including Payroll, Benefits, Employee Relations, and Recruiting. This position supports the Leadership team and works with personnel across each department.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or similar field.
  • 10 years of related experience, including employee relations experience.
  • Understanding of the laws affecting payroll, HR, leave management, benefits, and all employee related issues.
  • Experience with conflict resolution to deal with employee issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is highly preferred
  • PHR/SHRM-CP or SPHR/SHRM-SCP Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee compliance with all federal and state laws, as well as company policies, as they affect HR, Payroll and Recruiting.
  • Oversee HR department and advise HR Managers.
  • Set policies and procedures, and assist Operations in managing their personnel.
  • Ensure that employees are being paid timely and accurately.
  • Ensure that the Recruiters are effective in serving Operations with all their hiring needs.
  • Ensure Recruiting Coordinators are providing effective onboarding services.
  • Work with corporate and third-party benefit provider to ensure effective communication, assistance, and offerings for all company-offered benefits.
