About The Position

The HR Director & Executive Assistant role provides administrative support to the Executive Pastor as they oversee the areas of HR and church alignment. This role is responsible for coordinating hiring, onboarding, staff updates, and HR processes while maintaining organization, professionalism, and process integrity. It also involves maintaining accurate employee records, HR systems, policies, and documentation, while supporting payroll, benefits, and staff communication. A key aspect is helping to create clear systems and structure that support a healthy, organized, and aligned staff culture across the church. Additionally, the role provides administrative support for the Executive Pastor in the coordination and execution of church-wide initiatives, systems, and operations, assisting in creating operational alignment across ministries, departments, campuses, leadership development, and assimilation processes. It also involves identifying operational gaps, improving systems, and supporting church-wide communication, reporting, tracking, and follow-through. The role also includes organizing and maintaining church office systems, administrative processes, vendor coordination, and operational workflows, as well as supporting meetings, events, scheduling, supplies, invoices, and administrative logistics with strong communication and attention to detail. Finally, the position requires continued spiritual, professional, and organizational development through leadership development, training, and personal growth, remaining teachable, solution-oriented, and committed to supporting the vision, culture, and values of Alive Church.
