About The Position

Essential Functions 1. Knowledge of the operational components of a multi-function building 2. Experience with crisis intervention, support management, and risk management 3. Sitting – 80%; walking – 10%; standing – 10% 4. Working indoors – 95% and Outdoors (for errands) – 5% 5. Frequent lifting of objects weighing less than 5 pounds 6. Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25 pounds. 7. Reaching for objects at, above and below shoulder 8. Occasionally twisting at waist, and stretching to reach objects 9. Basic math skills and reading skills including understanding written documents 10. Writing skills in preparing and organizing documents 11. Sensory skills, i.e., visual, hearing, and speaking 12. Keyboard skills

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years of live-in experience
• Three years of demonstrated experience in residential education
• Demonstrated experience with hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation of paraprofessionals and/or professionals
• Experience in student retention and student success initiatives and programs
• Demonstrated cross-divisional collaborations with key campus constituents
• Experience with regulatory compliance related to higher education such as, but not limited to, FERPA , Title IX, and the “Clery Act”
