About The Position

Iowa Home Care is excited to help recruit the next Director of our sister company, Angels in the Home, a private home care company serving individuals and families in Iowa. This role is for a social worker, human-services professional, healthcare leader, or community-minded professional who is passionate about helping people remain safe, independent, and connected in their own homes. The Director will work with people, solve problems, connect families with resources, and build relationships throughout the community, with the goal of growing a local private home care business. The Director will help individuals and families find solutions for safe and independent living at home, build relationships with clients, families, caregivers, and community partners, grow private-pay home care services, meet with prospective clients to develop services, build referral relationships, recruit and lead a caregiving team, oversee the client experience, identify new services, and take ownership of the company's success and growth. The role emphasizes listening, understanding needs, navigating challenges, connecting with resources, and finding creative solutions. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, compassionate, a strong communicator and problem-solver, organized, resourceful, hands-on, excited about team development, creative, accountable, and passionate about client experience. Responsibilities

• Help individuals and families find solutions that allow them to remain safely and independently at home
• Build meaningful relationships with clients, families, caregivers, social workers, healthcare professionals, senior-living communities, and other community partners
• Grow private-pay home care and concierge services throughout Iowa
• Meet with prospective clients and families and help develop services around their individual needs and goals
• Build referral relationships and community partnerships
• Recruit, develop, and lead an exceptional caregiving team
• Oversee the client experience from the first phone call through ongoing service and care coordination
• Identify new services and opportunities that meet the changing needs of older adults, individuals with disabilities, and their families
• Take ownership of the day-to-day success and long-term growth of Angels in the Home
