Carlos Rosario International Public Charter School (CRIPCS) is an adult charter school that delivers high-quality education, career training, and supportive services that enable adult immigrants to realize their dreams while strengthening our community and economy. CRIPCS is the nation’s first adult charter school and a national model for high-quality adult education, career training, and student support. Our mission-driven team advances innovative, equity-centered solutions that empower adult immigrants and English language learners while strengthening our community and economy. Through our award-winning three-pronged model—foundational coursework, career certification, and comprehensive supports—and guided by our core values: Integrity, Respect, Perseverance, Compassion, Inclusivity, and Collaboration we advance our strategic priorities to empower our people and culture and build for the future. The Director of GED Programs leads both the English and Spanish GED programs across CRIPCS campuses, ensuring strong student outcomes, high-quality instruction, and a coherent program experience for all adult immigrant learners. Reporting to the Chief Schools Officer, this role is primarily an instructional leadership and data-informed performance role—responsible for evaluating and developing GED faculty in both programs, analyzing student and program performance data, and designing professional development that builds instructional capacity across the full GED portfolio. The Director owns and is accountable for the performance of both GED programs, ensuring that students in the English and Spanish tracks receive a comparable, high-quality experience. This role sets the direction for faculty and program performance across both programs, actively recruits and retains students, and fosters a learning environment grounded in dignity and high expectations.
