About The Position

Another Broken Egg of America Franchising, LLC is seeking a Director of Franchise Sales (DFS) to join our corporate team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will serve as the Company’s primary liaison and brand ambassador with prospective franchisees during the marketing, sales, discovery, and qualification processes, and continue to consult as needed through successful opening of new restaurants. The Director of Franchise Sales will engage cross-functional resources as needed throughout the sales process. Additionally, they will work with existing franchise partners to add new unit commitments and participate in re-sale transactions as needed. This position reports to the Vice President of Development. To be considered, candidates must reside in Southeast or Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in direct franchise sales and sales management required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Development, or related subject required
  • Demonstrated success in territory sales growth in current and new markets.
  • Proven ability to represent a franchise brand with high integrity and utmost high level of professionalism.
  • Recognizes the importance of acting promptly and decisively. Exhibits focus, intensity, determination, efficiency, and performs well under pressure with persistence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of leadership.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams and franchisees to build strong and trusting relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Understands business operations, functions, processes, and external environment.
  • Strong analytical capability to observe, investigate, and evaluate system performance, identify issues, and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in system analysis, design, and implementation.

  • Ability to sit for extended periods (4–8 hours per day) at a desk or workstation
  • Ability to adjust posture, including standing and stretching to maintain comfort and prevent strain

  • Ability to focus on a computer screen for extended periods, requiring the use of corrective lenses if necessary
  • Ability to maintain a neutral head, neck, and back position; ergonomic seating and support recommended
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as typing, clicking, and scrolling
  • Ability to participate in phone and video calls, clearly hearing and responding to verbal communication
  • Occasional lifting of office supplies, documents, or light equipment (up to 15 lbs)
  • Capacity to stay focused and maintain attention for extended work periods
  • Ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse for extended periods
  • Ability to work in an office environment with artificial lighting and noise from office equipment

Responsibilities

  • Achieving or exceeding annual franchise unit growth objectives for their assigned territory through execution of the strategic franchising sales plan.
  • Utilizing a variety of internal and external resources to source, recruit, and qualify prospective franchisees.
  • Signing single and multi-unit development agreements.
  • Onboarding the quality and quantity of new franchise partners needed to enhance enterprise value and leverage the ABE brand.
  • Assisting in the execution of the strategic franchise sales plan, employing a variety of proactive sales and marketing methods to generate leads and achieve franchise sales and opening objectives in both new and existing markets.
  • Networking and marketing within the sales territory and targeted growth areas to identify potential franchisee candidates.
  • Tracking and working all sales leads through the entire sales process from initial inquiry follow-up, through discovery, application, FDD disclosure, Discovery Days, and final preparation and signing of agreements.
  • Identifying, courting, qualifying, and signing franchise prospects who meet all quantitative and qualitative standards.
  • Targeting marketing and promotion efforts accordingly to align with the strategic franchise sales plan.
  • Screening and processing applications, ensuring high-quality franchise partners are prospected, qualified, and selected.
  • Coordinating all prospective franchise qualification activities, including: Disclosure process, Compliance with all record-keeping requirements, Background and financial review, Negotiation of area development agreements, Coordination and facilitation of discovery day.
  • Participating in organizational re-sale transactions (franchise-to-franchise, company-to-franchise).
  • Engaging cross-functional resources to assess transaction feasibility, source and qualify potential franchisees, and transact the sale.
  • Executing functional business plans and budgets in accordance with the organization’s strategic franchise sales plan and key financial objectives.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
