About The Position

Laundry LUV is seeking a Director of Franchise Development to build the brand's national footprint. This is a high-growth phase role focused on awarding 20 franchise units by the end of 2028. The position offers direct access to the CEO, strategic influence, and significant earning potential for high performers. Requirements

5+ years of franchise development or franchise sales experience
Track record of awarding units, ideally 10+ annually
Deep working knowledge of FDDs, Item 19 financial representations, the FTC Franchise Rule, and state registration processes
Fluency with franchise CRM platforms such as FranConnect and HubSpot
Established relationships within franchise broker networks
A consultative sales style — you build trust first, then close
Strong communication and presence; you represent the brand in every interaction

Nice To Haves

Experience in laundromat, retail, or service-based franchise sectors.
Background in emerging or growth-stage franchise systems is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Manage the full development pipeline from lead generation through executed agreements.
Maintain real-time CRM accuracy (HubSpot, FranConnect) and deliver consistent forecasting to leadership.
Evaluate prospects on financial capacity, operational readiness, and brand alignment.
Lead discovery calls, validation calls, and Discovery Day experiences.
Guide candidates through the FDD with full transparency and strict adherence to FTC Franchise Rule and state registration requirements.
Partner with legal on execution.
Build productive relationships across broker networks (IFBG, FBA, and others).
Develop channel performance in close partnership with marketing.
Work with marketing to optimize lead sources and conversion rates.
Ensure seamless handoffs of signed franchisees to Real Estate and Client Success teams.
Represent Laundry LUV at Discovery Days, franchise expos, broker events, and industry trade shows.
