About The Position

The Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Center is conveniently located in Rockville, MD. Steps away from Twinbrook Metro Station, access to Washington, D.C. is a breeze via metro or car drive. With 315 guest rooms & suites, 35,000 square feet of flexible event spaces that includes 14 conference rooms, a ballroom and spacious atrium, the Hilton Rockville is suited for any perfect stay or event. The Hilton Rockville is looking for an experienced Director of Food & Beverage with strong banquet background. This position reports to the General Manager and is responsible for the Food & Beverage operation and to ensure that the outlets and events operate successfully. Outlets include restaurant, bar and café.

Requirements

  • 5 years of Food & Beverage leadership experience running multiple outlets and banquet experience
  • Knowledge of operating a budget, revenue, labor, inventory systems, and costs
  • Knowledge of bar wine & spirits, building cocktail programs & wine lists
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with associates and guests

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef, Banquet/Catering and Sales team to ensure smooth and successful events & meetings
  • Manage and direct Food & Beverage associates to include training, coaching and cultivating a positive and proficient environment while ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labor costs and profitability
  • Participation and input towards F&B Marketing
