About The Position
The Nutrition Group is seeking a Director of Food and Nutrition to oversee daily cafeteria operations within a K-12 school district. The role calls for a dynamic leader with a background in food service management, compliance, and team leadership. The Director develops and manages school menus in accordance with USDA and state guidelines, oversees costs, budgets, and inventory, leads cafeteria staff, ensures accurate accounting and reporting, and communicates with school district administrators and officials. The position offers a consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1–2 years of proven staff management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain necessary clearances and pass background checks.

- Food service industry experience is strongly preferred.
