About The Position
Holiday Inn Waterpark Downtown Omaha is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven Director of Food & Beverage to lead operations for our Burger Theory Restaurant & Bar. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant, bar, banquet food and beverage operations, and guest dining experience while driving profitability, team development, and exceptional service. Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage management experience, preferably in a hotel or full-service restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing budgets, labor costs, inventory, and food costs.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, bar service, and food safety standards.
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
- Must be dependable, professional, and guest-focused.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of Burger Theory Restaurant & Bar and all food and beverage outlets.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant and bar team members.
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns.
- Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and cost controls.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef to develop menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor regulations.
- Analyze financial performance, control expenses, and achieve revenue goals.
- Assist with banquet and catering operations as needed.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on delivering outstanding guest experiences.
