Director of Financial Planning - Delos

First United Bank•Dallas, TX

About The Position

The Director of Financial Planning owns financial planning quality and consistency across Delos Private Client Group and Delos Wealth Advisors. The role leads and develops the Private Client Group planning team and its comprehensive, goals-based planning practice, while designing, deploying, and monitoring a standardized, technology-enabled planning program for Wealth Advisors. The Wealth Advisors program is intentionally lighter-touch than the Private Client Group offering, but every Wealth Advisor is expected to deliver it and be monitored against its standards. The position serves as a senior practitioner on complex, high-net-worth planning engagements and establishes planning standards, workflows, and best practices. It also oversees selection, configuration, and administration of financial planning platforms, and uses reporting and analytics to monitor plan quality, platform use, and program adherence. The role collaborates with investment, operations, compliance, Wealth Sales, Trust Sales, and the Wealth Advisors Program Manager. It reports to the Chief Investment Officer of Delos Private Client Group. This role does not carry sales production credit, AUM growth targets, or P&L accountability; it does not own trust origination or administration, investment management decisions, or Wealth Advisors’ production performance management. The position is based in Dallas-Uptown.
