Director of Financial Planning - Delos

First United Bank•Dallas, TX

About The Position

The Director of Financial Planning owns financial planning quality and consistency across Delos Private Client Group and Delos Wealth Advisors. This senior practitioner and team leader guides the Private Client Group's comprehensive, goals-based planning practice while designing and governing a standardized, technology-enabled planning program for Wealth Advisors. The program is lighter-touch by design, but every Wealth Advisor is expected to deliver it and be monitored against its standards. The role leads complex, high-net-worth planning engagements and develops the Private Client Group's financial planners and associate advisors. It also defines the minimum planning deliverable, workflow, cadence, and escalation criteria for Wealth Advisors; provides training and resources; and monitors adoption and adherence. The position owns selection, configuration, and administration of financial planning platforms, along with planning-quality and program-adoption reporting. The role reports to the Chief Investment Officer of Delos Private Client Group and works closely with the Program Manager of Delos Wealth Advisors. It collaborates with operations, compliance, Wealth Sales, and Trust Sales leadership. It does not carry sales production credit, AUM growth targets, or P&L accountability, and does not own trust origination or administration, portfolio construction, investment management decisions, or advisor production performance management.
