Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) serves as a strategic financial leader for the Museum, and is responsible for overseeing annual budgeting, forecasting, long-range financial planning, and business analysis. The Director partners with the CFO and other members of the executive leadership, department heads and Board committees to develop financial plans that support the Museum’s mission, strategic priorities and long-term financial sustainability. This position leads the annual operating and capital budget process, develops financial models and forecasts, analyzes financial and operational performance, and provides actionable insights to support decision-making across the organization. The Director also serves as an internal consultant on strategic initiatives, operational improvements, earned revenue opportunities, capital investments, and financial risk management.
