About The Position

Nation Services Company, a Frontline Road Safety company, is seeking a hands-on finance leader to serve as the senior finance leader for its Louisiana business, an organization with approximately $50–60 million in revenue. The position is based on-site at one of the company’s Louisiana offices in Monroe, West Monroe, Alexandria, or Baton Rouge. Alexandria is preferred, and the candidate must live within commuting distance of the selected office. The position is not hybrid or remote. Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, with a dotted-line relationship to the Division President, the Director of Finance has P&L responsibility and will lead the financial integration of multiple businesses into one organization. The role will lead integration activities, install processes, support an ERP conversion, build a scalable finance team, and maintain effective control of back-office operations. Construction, infrastructure, or other project-based industry experience is highly desirable, as is experience in a private equity–backed environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 7 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
At least 3 years in a finance leadership role, such as Controller or Finance Manager, supporting P&L for a multi-entity business.
Hands-on experience supporting multi-business integrations, ERP conversions, or finance transformation initiatives.
Deep expertise in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and month-end close.
Demonstrated ability to build and scale internal controls.
Strong proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel, and Power BI, with experience participating in system implementation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and change-management skills, with the ability to partner across all levels of an organization.
Must reside within commuting distance of the selected Louisiana office.

Nice To Haves

CPA and/or MBA.
Experience in construction or another project-based industry.
Experience in a private equity–backed, multi-site organization, including supporting reporting to ownership and lenders.

Responsibilities

Execute the financial roadmap for integrating multiple businesses into a unified organization, including implementing the target finance structure, policies, and operating model.
Lead finance’s role in the ERP conversion, managing scope, timeline, and budget and partnering with operations and IT to deliver a single platform with full data integrity.
Implement and maintain a strong control environment and standardized processes, promoting continuous improvement across finance functions.
Manage the Louisiana business P&L, support financial targets, and drive profitable growth, margin improvement, and accountability for results.
Advise the Division President and local leadership on pricing, investment, and resource allocation.
Develop and maintain KPIs and management reporting that provide a unified view of performance across the businesses.
Oversee accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and inventory across the Louisiana businesses.
Ensure timely, accurate, scalable month-end close and audit readiness for all entities.
Manage working capital across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory to optimize cash flow and return on capital.
Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, assessing talent, structure, and succession as businesses are combined.
Partner with operations, FP&A, and corporate finance leadership to align priorities and improve operational efficiency.
Own financial reporting for the Louisiana business and present results, insights, and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Lead annual budgeting and forecasting, long-range planning, financial modeling, and ROI evaluation of capital projects and strategic initiatives.
Support strategic planning and investment decisions with financial rationale, risk assessment, and value-creation insights.
