About The Position

Claims Resolution Corporation, Inc. is seeking a strategic and hands-on Director of Finance to lead accounting, financial reporting, and controls for our growing organization. As a trusted partner to executive leadership, you’ll oversee both corporate and client financial operations for our property & casualty claims management services. This role is ideal for a forward-thinking finance leader who thrives in building high performing teams, scalable processes, driving improvements, and leveraging automation and AI.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA strongly preferred; MBA a plus)
10+ years of progressive finance/accounting experience, including leadership
Strong knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition (ASC 606)
Experience with accrual accounting and financial statement preparation
Proficiency with accounting systems (QuickBooks Online preferred)
Strong Excel skills
Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills

Responsibilities

Lead all accounting operations, including GL, AP/AR, financial close, and reporting
Transition and maintain accrual-based, GAAP-compliant accounting
Oversee client fund accounting, ensuring proper controls and fiduciary compliance
Manage revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
Drive financial reporting accuracy, audit readiness, and internal controls
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Oversee cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital
Partner with leadership on strategy, pricing, and profitability
Improve processes through automation, systems optimization, and AI initiatives
Build and develop a high-performing finance team
