About The Position

A healthcare organization operating nursing homes and drug rehabilitation centers is seeking an experienced Director of Finance / CFO to lead its financial operations. This is a high-level, strategic position focused more on financial leadership, planning, analysis, and decision-making than day-to-day clerical accounting. The Director of Finance / CFO will work closely with leadership to oversee the financial health of the organization, strengthen financial controls, and provide insight that supports growth and operational decisions.

Requirements

7+ years of accounting and finance experience required.
Healthcare accounting/finance experience required.
Strong senior-level financial leadership experience.
Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations.
Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to see beyond day-to-day accounting functions.
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work closely with executive leadership and provide actionable financial guidance.

Responsibilities

Lead the overall financial strategy and financial operations of the organization.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
Monitor financial performance across healthcare operations.
Provide leadership with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
Develop and maintain strong financial controls and processes.
Analyze costs, profitability, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
Support long-term planning, growth initiatives, and major financial decisions.
Ensure appropriate financial and accounting practices across the organization.
Work closely with senior leadership on business and operational strategy.
