About The Position

Keystone Human Services is seeking a full-time Director of Family Services to join its Early Childhood and Family Services team. The Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of family-centered services, ensuring high-quality program delivery, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes for children and families. The role is responsible for the overall direction, administration, coordination, oversight, planning, and ongoing development of the Family Services component, including developing and implementing systems and processes. As a member of the leadership team, the Director assesses community and service needs and develops strategies to address challenges and support agency goals and objectives. The Director promotes Keystone’s mission, values, and culture while overseeing Family Services operations, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, monitoring program performance, and ensuring compliance with applicable requirements. The role also supports budgeting, fiscal oversight, grant development, organizational change, and continuous improvement. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Family Development, or another related field; a bachelor’s degree in another field may be considered with an equivalent combination of experience and/or training providing the required skills and competencies.
Four years of related work experience, including progressive supervisory and administrative management experience.
Significant knowledge and experience in areas of focus, including knowledge of applicable laws, policy development, and system implementation.
Maintain appropriate and professional boundaries.
A valid driver’s license may be required. Depending on work location, reliable daily access to a privately maintained and insured vehicle may also be required.
Comfort communicating clearly in written and spoken formats, with the ability to understand and apply written information.
Comfort using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, and openness to learning new electronic systems.
Demonstrated ability to interpret regulations, manage complex programs, analyze data, and implement process improvements.
Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
Experience leading teams through organizational change and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Ability to successfully complete the pre-employment process, including background checks, clearances, and verifications.

Responsibilities

Promote Keystone’s mission, values, and culture through all aspects of the role.
Provide leadership and oversight of Family Services, including active supervision, family support, Policy Council, recruitment, selection, enrollment, and delivery of high-quality services.
Collaborate with leadership, departmental teams, families, community agencies, and other stakeholders to establish priorities, strengthen partnerships, coordinate services, and support agency goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain reporting and monitoring systems; compile and analyze program data, assessments, surveys, and other information to evaluate service delivery and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, fiscal requirements, policies, and procedures, including preparation for and participation in federal reviews.
Support effective program operations through budgeting, fiscal oversight, problem solving, grant development, organizational change, communication, and continuous improvement of systems and service procedures.
Maintain appropriate and professional boundaries.
Participate in projects and initiatives with cross-functional collaboration as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
