About The Position

This position is responsible for the care and cleaning of all aspects of the Hospital, hiring, training and supervising all Environmental Services and laundry personnel, procuring of supplies, chemicals and equipment, assisting with budget preparation, and operating within budgetary guidelines. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and patient experience standards.

Requirements

Minimum (5-10) five to ten years in management of healthcare housekeeping experience required.
Full knowledge of pertinent regulatory agencies and the policies, codes, standards, and regulations that applies to the clinical equipment in their area.
Must have detailed organization and prioritizing skills with the ability to train; teach, show and follow-up on all assignments, when necessary.
Will be skilled in directing and motivating the staff; have knowledge of infection control techniques.
High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors Degree in related field and 3-5 years of relevant management experience required OR will accept 8 years relevant work experience in lieu of degree, plus management experience as required above.
