About the position
We are seeking a Director of Engineering, Foundation to lead our Productivity and Platform teams at Webflow. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional peers, setting goals and defining business strategy, and driving execution and high-quality results. The ideal candidate has extensive technical experience in engineering and developing internal design systems, accessibility features, and frontend web infrastructure, as well as experience leading teams with modern web technology stacks.

Requirements
- 7+ years of leadership experience managing managers
- 4+ years of technical experience as an individual contributor focused on delivering results for internal developers
- Extensive technical experience in engineering and developing internal design systems, accessibility features, frontend web infrastructure, and coding standards
- Experience leading or being part of an engineering organization that develops technical solutions for web site publishing, DOM rendering, CSS style guides, and API libraries
- Experience with modern web technology stacks such as Javascript, React, Node.js, Mongodb
- Deep understanding of Agile fundamentals and strong execution
- Ability to rapidly scale teams and develop a growth strategy
- Commitment to cultivating an inclusive team culture
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams
