About The Position

The Director of Education and Organizational Development is responsible for organizational learning and development and skills-based education. The role works with peers in the Education Department, clinical specialists, and managers to design, implement, teach, and evaluate programs that facilitate professional development and continuous learning in alignment with the hospital’s operational and strategic goals. The position oversees employee and manager orientation, annual mandatory education, physicians’ continuing medical education, and in-service training.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• A minimum of 3–5 years of progressive teaching experience in adult education, preferably in a health-related field.
• Supervisory experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in education or a health-related field preferred.
• Leadership experience strongly preferred.
• RN or other clinical licensure strongly preferred.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma green belt and/or black belt certification desirable.
• Certification in related fields of performance improvement preferred.
