About The Position

The Director of E-Commerce leads ProCaps Laboratories’ Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) digital business and is accountable for driving measurable revenue growth across our owned digital channels. You will build, manage, and develop a high-performing digital marketing team, acting as a strong operational leader who establishes clear workflows, role accountability, and execution standards across the department. We require a leader who fosters independent execution from their team and takes strict ownership of project timelines, deliverables, and progress. This role is highly execution-oriented and centered on operationalizing the Founder’s vision into scalable digital growth systems. The Founder will continue to lead the company’s core marketing philosophy, educational positioning, campaign concepts, product storytelling, and major promotional direction. Your responsibility is to translate that vision into coordinated, high-performing digital execution across all DTC channels. You will lead the execution, optimization, coordination, testing, and scaling of founder-led campaigns through conversion-focused landing pages, merchandising, lifecycle marketing, subscription programs, paid digital coordination, and customer journey optimization. Your role is to build the operational systems and team necessary to execute the Founder’s ideas at a consistently high level. Core Philosophy & Approach Founder-Led Marketing Execution With the founder as the primary creative and strategic marketing visionary for the business, you must excel at taking campaign ideas, educational messaging, offers, and promotional concepts from the Founder and turning them into organized, high-performing digital executions that drive measurable business results. Independent Leadership & Execution You will establish marketing processes, workflows, and operational systems that ensure consistent execution and eliminate project bottlenecks. You must act decisively, create accountability across the department, and ensure timelines and deliverables are consistently met. Conversion & Digital Direct-Response First Your primary focus is leading the team to optimize the digital “low-hanging fruit,” designing and refining online offers, landing pages, conversion funnels, and lifecycle programs that maximize immediate, trackable revenue and ROI.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of digital marketing/e-commerce experience with at least 3–4 years in a leadership role scaling DTC operations and leading multi-function teams.
  • Proven ability to build, manage, and develop high-performing marketing teams with a strong focus on accountability, operational rigor, and independent execution.
  • Deep, hands-on background in DTC funnel development, conversion rate optimization, lifecycle marketing, subscription businesses, and measurable ROI-focused marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize executive/founder vision into organized, scalable marketing execution systems and campaigns.
  • Advanced understanding of e-commerce platforms, CRM systems, marketing automation, analytics platforms (GA4, Triple Whale/Northbeam), landing page tools, and attribution systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, pharmaceuticals, functional foods, or founder-led health/wellness brands is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and develop a multi-function digital marketing team across paid media, lifecycle marketing, social media, and DTC execution.
  • Establish strict role accountability, workflows, operational systems, and performance standards to ensure independent execution across the department.
  • Translate founder-led campaign ideas and initiatives into actionable project plans with clear ownership, timelines, deliverables, and execution cadences.
  • Own departmental prioritization, execution coordination, and project follow-through
  • Ensure timelines and deadlines are met across all projects
  • Foster professional growth and development within the team while also managing external agency partners and vendors as needed.
  • Own DTC e-commerce performance metrics, specifically top-line revenue, Conversion Rate (CVR), Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), subscription performance, and Customer Lifetime Value (LTV).
  • Direct the team on website merchandising, landing page optimization, funnel development, SEO coordination, and on-site personalization initiatives.
  • Lead rigorous A/B testing initiatives across founder-led offers, product pages, checkout flows, subscriptions, and customer journeys to maximize profitability and conversion efficiency.
  • Translate promotional campaigns and educational initiatives from the Founder into optimized digital funnels, landing pages, merchandising experiences, and conversion paths.
  • Oversee digital catalog management and coordinate with product and operations teams to ensure accurate product merchandising and inventory alignment.
  • Continuously improve the customer purchase experience across desktop and mobile environments.
  • Oversee the Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager in building and optimizing email/SMS campaigns and automated flows, including welcome series, abandoned cart, replenishment, post-purchase, win-back, and subscription retention programs.
  • Ensure founder-led educational content, promotions, and campaign messaging are effectively integrated into lifecycle marketing programs.
  • Drive repeat purchase behavior, customer retention, subscription conversion, and overall customer lifetime value through disciplined lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Develop customer segmentation and personalization strategies to improve engagement and long-term customer value.
  • Oversee the Social Media Manager in executing educational, founder-led content distribution across key social platforms.
  • Coordinate the operational execution and amplification of founder-generated content, educational messaging, and promotional initiatives across social channels.
  • Support social commerce initiatives, including TikTok Shop, Instagram Shop, and emerging platform opportunities aligned with the company’s DTC growth strategy.
  • Ensure social media execution aligns with paid media, direct-response campaigns, and customer acquisition initiatives.
  • Coordinate user-generated content (UGC), creator partnerships, and community engagement initiatives that support customer acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Completely own digital performance reporting across DTC channels, including CAC, ROAS, subscription metrics, funnel performance, campaign ROI, retention metrics, and contribution margin.
  • Build scalable dashboards and reporting systems for executive leadership.
  • Translate performance data into actionable optimization, testing, and resource allocation decisions.
  • Continuously identify operational inefficiencies and growth opportunities across the digital business.
  • Provide performance feedback and optimization recommendations on founder-led campaigns to improve conversion efficiency and customer response over time.
