About The Position

Ignite Medical Resort Chesterton is seeking a Director of Culture & Engagement to join its management team. The role focuses on connecting with employees and fostering a workplace culture that supports recruitment and retention. The director will support employee orientation, recognition, appreciation, and engagement, while partnering with facility managers on operational concerns. Responsibilities also involve payroll and bonus processing, benefits, employee relations, and other human resources functions.

Requirements

Experience processing employee payroll and bonuses.
Experience managing benefits, employee relations, culture, recognition and appreciation, new-hire orientation, and retention.
Ability to engage with people from different walks of life and serve as a resource.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to design innovative employee programs.

Nice To Haves

Background in skilled nursing, long-term care, healthcare, or hospitality.
Experience with Paylocity or another human resources information system.

Responsibilities

Process employee payroll and bonuses.
Manage benefits and employee relations, including discipline, investigations, performance matters, and terminations.
Support employee recognition, appreciation, new-hire orientation, and retention.
Collaborate with facility managers to assist with operational concerns.
Serve as a resource for employees from different walks of life.
