About The Position
CareOne at Livingston is hiring a full-time Culinary Service Director in Livingston, New Jersey. The director oversees culinary services and is responsible for understanding purchasing systems, menu programs, software, and financial reports associated with the Dietary Department. The role requires a commitment to meeting federal, state, and local regulations and collaboration with other team members to meet residents’ nutritional needs and provide food services for special events and daily activity programs. CareOne’s signature dining program aims to make dining healthy and enjoyable through personalized menu choices, tableside cooking, and related services. Requirements
- ServSafe certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Food/Culinary Service Director in a long-term care or sub-acute environment.
- A desire to serve others.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Dietary Manager certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Use and understand purchasing systems, menu programs, and related software.
- Read and understand financial reports associated with the Dietary Department.
- Meet applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Partner with team members to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
- Provide services for special events and daily activity programs.
